This Mother’s Day celebration was one to remember as the charismatic and down-to-earth Ricco Ross joined attendees for an intimate and inspiring conversation. From personal reflections to career achievements, Mr. Ross shared meaningful stories about his journey, his values, and the people who matter most to him.

He spoke about his childhood, his relationship with his mother, lessons learned throughout his life, past professional experiences, and the many accomplishments he has achieved throughout his career. He also discussed his involvement with the first Black Actors Guild and his current work on a panel dedicated to addressing and preventing discrimination against Black actors and actresses within the entertainment industry, including conversations surrounding Oscar recognition and opportunities for emerging talent.

Rayaaa: What is your name?
Ricco Ross:
“My name is Ricco Ross!”
He answered with a warm and generous smile.
Rayaaa: What do you do?
Ricco Ross:
“I am an actor. I play horror, and I’m part of the number one TV series we have out right now called Beauty in Black. It has become number one every time we have dropped. Thanks to the fans and their dedication to this particular project.”
Rayaaa: What gives you life?
Ricco Ross:
“Positivity.”
A simple response that reflected his outlook on life and success.
Rayaaa: What makes you laugh?
Ricco Ross:
“You.”
He delivered the answer with a smile and an unmistakable twinkle in his eye, instantly filling the room with laughter.
Rayaaa: Who or what do you love?
Ricco Ross:
“My kids and my wife.”
A simple yet powerful answer that highlighted the importance of family and the people closest to his heart.
