*Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Sing!) and Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx lead an all-star cast in the 2018 “Robin Hood.” You may think you know the tale of the Sherwood Forest people’s champ, but this updated reboot has several twists in store for you.

Robin of Loxley (Egerton) a war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander (Foxx) mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.

EURweb correspondent Jill Munroe sat down with the two stars to discuss how they bonded over music and singing on set, how love is the ultimate motivator and if those stunt sequences were as hard as they looked on screen.

In the film, Robin’s love of Marian is just one of the factors that starts this mission, his bond with John over events experienced during war is another. Jamie shared his views on love and how brain chemistry is really what causes people to move different when they’re in love.

“I’m a passionate person. I love, love. And to be loved. We all get up in our daily lives. You see [in the movie] when he [Robin] is speaking of his girl, that fuels us all in a sense. That’s old fashion. To do it for someone for their admiration. That’s been throughout time.  Love will make you want to conquer the world… and love will make you lose the world too. Love is a tough thing. They when you are in love they check your brain waves and it’s a little crazy. So I guess that we all are.”

The film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, Jamie Dornan and Tim Minchin. It’s directed by Otto Bathurst and one of it’s producers is Leonardo DiCaprio. “Robin Hood” hits theaters on November 21.
