*September 4th marks the launch of the highly-anticipated daily digital show, “Roland Martin Unfiltered” which will feature news and cultural commentator Roland Martin at his best; breaking down the issues of the day. The former host of “News One Now” wanted to make sure that not only will he be unlimited in his reach in the digital age, but also unfiltered in his content.

I had the opportunity to take a deep dive into both the present state of America as well as its complex history with Martin; as we give context to the dysfunctional state of American politics and the coarse rhetoric which surrounds it.
